This fine TR6 was subject to a 3 year full body off restoration between 1997 and 2000.
We've got loads of photos here to show off the work done. Impressive stuff, with most panels having been replaced. The car came to us last year for a full service and a few extras including brake overhaul, clutch hydraulics, cooling hoses etc and is now up for grabs.
This particular TR6 ticks all your pre check boxes with a strong, silky smooth 150 bhp 6 cylinder engine. Bosch fuel pump conversion and overdrive gearbox. Sneaks under the radar for tax exemption too. Popular colour and very tidy interior. Drives wonderfully, pulls like a train and handles great.
Happy days!

Just turn the key and listen to this GT6 and you'll be off to the cashpoint to fetch your deposit...you've been warned!
You can't beat the sound of a straight six especially when some kind soul has bolted a full Phoenix stainless steel 6-3-1 manifold and exhaust system to it. Makes a Slipknot concert sound positively tame.
Loads of goodies on this one to bore your friends with: S.U. carbs and sports air filters, ally radiator cowling, gas strut conversion kit fitted to the bonnet to save your back, powder coated chassis, polybush suspension bushes everywhere by the looks of things so you can forget about replacing them until hell freezes over.
Electronic ignition so there's no contact breaker points gap or dwell angles to worry about and the condenser is in the bin too.
Flamethrower ignition coil, chrome rocker cover, overdrive gearbox, leather rim Motolita steering wheel, walnut dashboard, original looking rubbish radio.
Recently recovered seats in the original black velour with new foams.
Drives as any good GT6 should...great.
None of that road tax nonsense to concern yourself with as this particular 1971 MK3 just sneaks in under the radar and makes queuing at the post office an absolute joy.
MOT'd and ready to go.

We've known this fantastic spitfire since 2001. Up for sale due to it's owner buying a German contraption with the engine in the wrong place...world's gone mad.
The current owner is a company director so he's got pots of money and has not been afraid to spend it with us on his beloved spitty.
Oh no, not another list! Stage 3 unleaded cylinder head with fast road camshaft, duplex timing gear kit, Bell stainless steel full sports exhaust system (yummy), K&N sports air filters and matching carburettor needles, kenlowe electric cooling fan, oil cooler, immobiliser, JY Classics' special top secret fuse box upgrade, spax front shock absorbers with lowered road springs, stainless steel braided brake hoses, mohair hood and hood cover, tasty Alpine stereo with ipod/mp3 wotsit thingy-bob and 4 speakers, overdrive gearbox, genuine Minilite alloy wheels with 175/70/13 tyres, walnut dashboard.
I've checked the old invoices, scary stuff. After doing that lot, I think James went shopping for a helicopter and I settled for a small yacht.
A real driver's spitfire. If Lewis had this, Jensen wouldn't stand a chance.

A GT6 that we've sold before and an absolute pleasure to have for sale once again.
One of the last ones too as it was 46th from end of production.
Quite some history behind this particular car, having been subject to 2 full bare metal resorations over the years.
Photo albums and full documentation of all restoration work are included.
Originally a TSSC concours show car with numerous wins.
Only 3 owners from new with the first owner keeping the car for an incredible 30 years.
Just 96,000 miles from new with pretty much a full service history.
Non rotoflex, overdrive gearbox, unleaded cylinder head. Stainless steel sports exhaust so it sounds as well as it goes.
Kenlowe electric cooling fan, spin on oil filter conversion. Motolita leather rim steering wheel,
Sony CD player although I'd rather listen to that super smooth straight six, what a soundtrack!
New Minator Minilite alloy wheels with Goodyear tyres all round.
Recent brake overhaul including servo, calipers and master cylinder. New water pump, cooling hoses,
New electronic ignition, coil and leads. Clutch hydraulics overhauled, gear selector bush kit.
Breathable car cover included.
Can't remember the last time I saw such a clean chassis and floor pans.
Just check out the photos of the car on our lift.
Mot'd and ready to go!

Another Spitfire that we've known for years, and one of my favourite 1500s.
Before the current owners, John & Hannah, took ownership of the car, we replaced the sills so we are pleased to confirm all is well in all crucial areas of the bodywork including chassis and floors.
We fitted a new mohair hood for them some time ago and it's still looking good.
Nice engine and overdrive gearbox. Bell stainless steel sports exhaust sounds fantastic.
Blaupunkt CD player, Stainless steel braided brake hoses.
12 months M.O.T.

I've been looking forward to getting this car in to sell.
Jim has owned this GT6 for 20 years. We really went to town on this car back in 2004, replacing the bonnet assembly, rear wings, doorskins, respray and a whole lot more at a total cost just shy of £10,000(Receipts included).
Since then, Jim has barely used the car and it's just sat in his garage feeling sorry for itself.
What a fantastic GT6. First time we've seen it in four years and an absolute pleasure to drive. Overdrive gearbox, excellent panel gaps courtesy of those fine fellows at JY Classics, good chassis, inviting interior.
Tax exempt, loads of service history, sensible price.
Come and get it...
